Meet the owner

Sonia Wu.
Forty years of craft.

Sonia’s story began at 14, when she started sewing independently and followed an instinctive fascination with fit, fabric and construction.

She spent years pursuing the craft around the world—at times giving her work freely for the chance to learn from skilled makers. After making and altering thousands of uniforms, repetition became precision and precision became her signature. Four decades on, Sonia remains the owner, senior alterations specialist and experienced hand behind a proudly women-owned workroom staffed entirely by women.

In a world of fast fashion, Sonia built her craft slowly: one fitting, one garment and one exacting finish at a time.
